Executive Assistant
Location: Agios Nikolaos, Crete – four days per week in our office, with flexible working options available.
Full time, flexible working
Salary: €24,000 per annum, 3 weeks holiday at Christmas and 2 week in summer.
Who are we?
We are Pemberton, a fast-scaling start-up at the forefront of biodiversity digitisation. We are working on innovative data products that will use every bit of data possible from satellites in space to mobile phones on the ground to enable biodiversity growth and richer habitats. Part-funded by the European Space Agency, we have huge ambitions to drive climate action and be a force for progressive and high impact change in this space.
We are looking for an experienced Exec Assistant to supercharge our growth by being the right hand person of the CEO and leadership team. Getting stuck in to help on the ground when needed.
What will you be doing?
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to executives, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements and herding cats.
- Assist with HR related tasks, such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
- Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
- Streamline processes to enhance workflow and operational efficiency.
- Support project management activities, tracking milestones and preparing reports.

Technical Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with HR software (bamboo HR) and experienced traveller is a bonus.
- Understanding of data management tools or project management software (Jira/ Bamboo HR)
Your Experience:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Experience in HR or working with HR processes is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
