Project Manager

Location: : Hybrid – Minimum one day per week in our London office at the beautiful County Hall, surrounded by fellow climate warriors.

Full-time or Part-time (minimum three days per week)

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000, depending on experience.
Bonus: up to £10,000 (dependent on performance and milestones)

Who are we?

We are Pemberton, a fast-scaling start-up at the forefront of biodiversity digitisation. We are working on innovative data products that will use every bit of data possible—from satellites in space to mobile phones on the ground—to enable biodiversity growth and richer habitats. Part-funded by the European Space Agency, we have huge ambitions to drive climate action and be a force for progressive and high-impact change in this space.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to supercharge our growth by transforming our operations into a well-oiled, efficient machine, driving us towards seamless execution and scalability.

What will you be doing?

• Play a central role in connecting the dots between internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead a team to meet ambitious milestones, driving the project forward with clear goals and deliverables.
• Streamline processes to ensure seamless operations.
• Add structure and methodology, enhancing workflows while avoiding unnecessary bureaucracy.

Technical nice to have’s

• Understanding of risk methodologies like RAAMS.
• Familiarity with Jira.

Your Experience:

• Ideally, you’ve worked in start-up environments.
• You’ve managed projects ranging from £500k-£2 million over 6 months-2 years.
